75 Federal Street

The ‘speculative office space’ at 75 Federal Street, a Boston Art Deco landmark, modernizes the rich color palette, sharp angles and luxurious materiality of the 1920s and 30s. Triangular patterns of various scales and expressions can be found throughout the room on carpets, wall coverings and green backsplashes.

A specially layered banquet that contrasts with subtle matte black lighting and plumbing fixtures, introducing a contemporary interpretation of Art Deco-inspired language. The bronze screen emphasizes the transition between the kitchen and workspace, paying homage to materials over a period of time without limiting access to natural light.

The concept is a blend of modern and industrial minimalism. The colors used to dominate this building are monochrome with a predominance of gray and black. This concept gives a simple but functional impression.
