Montauk Lighthouse is a small family home located on a seafront cliff. This house is on the side of a tall lighthouse that has a function to monitor ocean traffic. The house has a traditional building concept with a strong local touch from the outside. The simple shape with local building materials such as wood, shingle, stone and brick fits the location of the house on the seaside, especially the cliff.
The interior of the building has a warm feel in contrast to the cool and cool outside air by the beach. Warm nuances are created from natural materials such as wood and brick which are supported by fireplaces in several rooms such as in the kitchen-dining room and in the family room which is a room that has a function for gathering.
