The house stands on a long and narrow plot of land adjacent to a busy street on the south side. To solve the problem of light deficit and separate the interior from the traffic, we raised the central part of the house on the south side above the ceiling and glazed the adjacent parts, and closed the rest of the façade, cutting it off from the street.
Through the selection of materials, we root the interior in nature. We draw on its resources, reaching for natural raw materials that become more refined over time. In our projects you will find solid wood, natural stone, real ceramics, raw linen, fleshy cotton. Every aspect of the material is important to us: consistency, texture, structure, density, work with light.
