Houses

ON SHORE

When designing a house right by the lake, we made the lake and the surrounding landscape an integral part of the concept. We have left the surrounding nature untouched in its pure, wild form, unchanged by human hand. Water, trees, landscapes, the house became one organism, they began to breathe in one rhythm, and the house literally entered the lake. Thanks to the glazing of the entire southern façade, what is outside the window and what is inside became one.

We made stone and wood the main building blocks of the house – both of them are perfect products of nature. As the façade material, we used real Polish limestone with a warm cream color, which we combined with a black plank made of burnt larch wood.

The rooms are decorated in natural, light, cream colors, broken with a dark accent in the form of a black plank – the same that appeared on the facade. The color rhythm is harmonious, natural materials: oak wood on the walls and floor, oak plank on the ceiling, table finished with oak veneer, lamps made of wooden strips, linen and cotton in curtains and upholstery fabrics. Round, biomorphic, organic shapes with soft lines and rounded edges dominate.
