INTERIOR AK is one-bedroom apartment near Udelny Park is specially designed for renting. Basic principles of the project:
– limited budget (800 thousand rubles for everything, including appliances, furniture and decor);
– rethinking the purpose of objects, materials and things;
– DIY furniture and accessories;
– a combination of elements of Japanese and Scandinavian minimalism.
The planning space of the apartment is divided into a living room with a kitchen-dining room, an entrance hall, a bedroom, a bathroom and a balcony. The entrance hall with a spacious dressing room is separated from the living room by a buffer partition made of solid and ventilated expanded clay concrete blocks that let in natural light.
The project used inexpensive and readily available finishing materials: wall painting, pine floor boards, white ceramic tiles, birch plywood. The concrete floors in the hallway and on the balcony, as well as the ceiling from the developer, were left unfinished, but covered with protective varnish.
Some of the furniture and accessories were made or modified by us on site: plywood boxes along the windows, dining table and chairs, dressers in the lounge area and bedroom, bedside lamps, clothes rail, shelves in the kitchen and in the wardrobe, sliding door, lampshades lamps, handles, a table under the sink, holders for paper and towels in the bathroom.
