INTERIOR DG \ APARTMENT QUESTION : Multifunctional Bedroom Interior

Initially, the INTERIOR DG room contained many different free-standing items: a wardrobe for clothes and bed linen for the whole family, a rack for textbooks, a chest of drawers for small things and books, a single bed and a work desk. Because of this, the space was perceived fractionally, which is typical for many apartments. We suggested arranging free-standing objects in one part of the room, thereby freeing the other from them.

To do this, we have designed a multifunctional “box” that contains a compact storage system (wardrobe, chest of drawers, bookshelf, cupboard for storing small items, drawers for bed linen and large items) and a place to sleep and rest (bed and sofa). On the opposite wall from the “box” we have placed a multifunctional surface, which is a mirror, organizer and screen. This was achieved with the help of a sliding panel, which in one position opens the organizer, in the other – a mirror, and in the center – is a screen for the projector.
