With branches dotted across the region, Samba is one of the largest banks in the Middle East. Fresh from a rebrand, Samba wanted a new head office to reflect their new identity. But with lockdown restrictions in place, KPS couldn’t meet with them face-to-face.
Instead, they did everything remotely. From planning to proposals, they had to find a way of bringing our ideas to life from behind a screen. Part of this was in the presentation of the interior design – where they modelled the entire space in 3D virtual reality.
This gave the clients a feel for colour, contrast, textures, and layout – all without physically being there. In actual reality, the physical space looks just as good as the one on screen. Earthy tones and natural textures flow from one room to the next, with hints of persian blue scattered throughout. And with a combination of direct and ambient lighting, each room has its own distinct mood.
